Stage Entertainment is one of the leading operators in the international live entertainment industry. Founded by Joop van den Ende in The Netherlands in 1998, the company today employs 4,000 persons, some 1,800 of these in Germany. Every year, approximately 14 million people visit Stage Entertainment productions. Turnover in fiscal year 2007/08 was at approximately EURO 600 million, and activities in Germany contributed a share of more than 50%. People at Stage Entertainment are dedicated to give their guests a thrill they will never forget.
And of course this motto applies also to customizing events for corporate clients who want to treat their customers, partners or staff to a special highlight. Stage Entertainment will of course also arrange for services, technology, entertainment, catering or logistics.

Stage Entertainment is essentially active in three business segments: production and marketing of internationally renowned musicals and shows, the creative development and marketing of own musicals and shows for the markets in which Stage Entertainment is active, as well as the operation of currently 28 theaters, 10 of these in Germany.
Stage Entertainment Germany has the following theaters in its portfolio: in Hamburg the Theater im Hafen, the Theater Neue Flora, the TUI Operettenhaus and the Kehrwieder Theater, in Berlin the Theater des Westens, the Theater am Potsdamer Platz and the Bluemax Theater, in Stuttgart the Apollo and the Palladium Theater, in Essen the Colosseum Theater and in Oberhausen the Metronom Theater am Centro. Other properties in Hamburg and Munich are planned.
The company has almost 70 renowned musicals and shows in its program, of which Disney’s THE LION KING, Disney’s TARZAN, WICKED – The Witches of OZ, WE WILL ROCK YOU, TANZ DER VAMPIRE, DIRTY DANCING and BLUE MAN GROUP are currently being performed in Germany.
In addition to these performances, Stage Entertainment is also producing and marketing tour and arena shows such as HOLIDAY ON ICE and the gala BEST OF MUSICAL. The company is stepping up its commitment in creating own themes and productions, and they have already established on the German market the musicals ICH WAR NOCH NIEMALS IN NEW YORK with evergreens written and originally sung by Udo Jürgens; ICH WILL SPASS! with the most popular recordings of the Neue Deutsche Welle sound as well as DER SCHUH DES MANITU based on the film blockbuster by Michael “Bully“ Herbig. Stage Entertainment is currently developing the musical version of SISTER ACT in co-production with Whoopi Goldberg, ZORRO and DIE UNENDLICHE GESCHICHTE both for the national and international markets. According to own statements, other new and exciting themes are already being developed together with popular musicians and authors.
