In spring 2012 the first B2 Boutique Hotel will open on the site of Zurich’s former Hürlimann-Brauerei brewery.
The brand being launched by the company Turicum Hotel Management AG is said to comprise small urban hotels and residences in different designs, featuring exceptional, personal service and a look all of their very own. The B2 Boutique Hotel Hürlimann Areal consists of 60 guestrooms and suites and two boardrooms for up to 20 people. In what used to be the brewery’s cooling trough eight twin-level suites of unconventional design will be available to travellers.
But it is the Library Lounge that represents the true highlight of the hotel. Roughly 30,000 books with tales from all eras adorn this library, where guests can enjoy a stylish wine bar serving fine Zurich wines and the historic Hürlimann beer round the clock.
Also served are “SWaPPas”, a fine-food interpretation of Swiss Tapas, accompanied by a variety of cheese and chocolate creations. Via a separate lift travellers interested in wellness will be able to access the adjacent thermal bath and spa and the open-air rooftop baths offering a 360° panorama view.
