Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has now opened its second property in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, the Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi. The business hotel extends over the upper 16 floors of the spectacular CapitalGateTower. Its incredible 18-degree inclination has earned the 160 metre-high building an entry in the Guinness Book of Records.
The altogether 189 rooms and suites feature ceiling-to-floor windows that offer breathtaking vistas over the skyline of Abu DhabiCityand the Arabian Gulf. Prices for a double room begin at around EUR 220 per night plus tax. As part of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the biggest exhibition and event venue in the Middle Eastjust 15 minutes from the airport, the futuristic hotel is perfect for business travellers. Three restaurants and a bar provide superb catering for guests. Among other facilities, the "18 Degrees" boasts three show kitchens and a spectacular view of the city and coastline.
On the 19th floor the Rayana Spa Abu Dhabi isAbu Dhabi's only "sky spa". There too, guests in search of relaxation will enjoy once-in-a-lifetime vistas of the city as well as their holistic treatments. A fitness centre, outdoor pool and sun terrace round off the amenities. The new hotel complements the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas opened last November 2011 in the Emirate.
