Bochum takes over from Rostock

Handover at Congress Allianz

The Congress Allianz, a marketing association of ten prominent congress centres acrossGermany, has a new chairperson. Now it is RuhrCongress Bochum’s turn at the helm. At the end of March, its managing director Andreas Kuchajda took over the symbolic baton from Petra Burmeister, managing director of StadtHalle Rostock, who had headed up the cooperative during the previous year and a half.

Andreas Kuchajda: “The Congress Allianz has established itself in the industry as a partnership of congress centres aspiring to premium quality. It is up to us constantly to build on this reputation and demonstrate that it is deserved. In an alliance with a regular change at the helm, this is a task that we are now pleased to assume for the period 2012/2013, and we greatly look forward to carrying it further forward.”

The Congress Allianz has been a firm fixture in the industry since 2004 and permanently refines its quality standards, which are regularly audited by an independent organisation. Each member venue’s Congress Allianz quality label vouches for experienced staff, professional operation and supreme quality and service. What is more, all the members of the alliance are Green Globe-certified and remarkable for their ideal accessibility and excellent event logistics.

A “Congress Butler Service” can be contacted on the central phone number 0700-22288537. There, requests for time slots and for proposals on events at one or more venues are coordinated and combined in order to offer clients a customised quote from among the ten member centres – a perfect solution not only for rolling events, for which multiple destinations can be covered with just one inquiry.

The Congress Allianz will also be represented at IMEX 2012: At stand G 145 ten of the most sought-after event venues in Germany from Rostock to Friedrichshafen can be found – all of them a byword for superb quality.
