ITB Berlin is inviting tenders for its advertisement budget in compliance with EU regulations and is calling advertisement agencies to submit their ideas and concepts. The new service partner's tasks will include drafting and developing the ITB-Berlin campaign as well as its implementation. In the B2B sector, these measures encompass global communication with ads, newsletters, flyers and online channels. In terms of end customers, focus is on communication with guests fromGermany, in particular fromBerlinand the federal state ofBrandenburg. Magazine ads, posters, radio spots, newspaper supplements, newsletters, promotions and online activities are designed to further increase public awareness of the world's leading travel show. ITB's promotion activities are currently being handled by the Heymann Brandt De Gelmini agency.
The call for tenders will be publicized across Europe. Candidates may call off the tender documentation by e-mail at EU-Ausschreibung@messe-berlin.de or by telefax at +49 (0)30/3038-2468. Submission deadline is May 2, 2012, 12:00 hrs. A decision on awarding the advertisement budget will presumably be made in September of this year.
The ITB Berlin 2013 will be staged from Wednesday, March 6 through Sunday, March 10, 2013.
