The keynote speakers for ibtm china’s market-leading Knowledge Programme have been revealed ahead of its 2017 event at the China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing on 23 - 24 August. Roger Simons, Bo Krüger and Jeremy Wong will be headlining the programme speaking on topics including technology sustainability and innovation, games and play.

One of the event’s headline speakers is Bo Krüger, of consultancy Moving Minds. Bo is presenting on the role that games, interaction and play have in designing engaging meetings. Bo says: “I am really delighted to be at ibtm china this year and look forward to enthusing delegates about the vital role that creativity, games and interaction play in creating meaningful events. In a world where we frequently need to reduce costs but increase value, a creative approach to audience engagement and satisfaction is paramount and my session will allow delegates to take direct learnings back to their workplace.” This year the programme follows seven key themes, from emerging trends and technology, to sustainability and cross-cultural business negotiation. With the event’s knowledge sessions increasing in popularity by 40% year-on-year in 2016, ibtm china continues to focus on delivering an education programme that inspires its visitors and gives them real learnings that can add tangible value to their business. ibtm china Event Director, Christine Guan says: “The stimulating Knowledge Programme at ibtm china is one of the main attractions for our delegates, who are hungry to learn in what is a relatively new and very fast-growing industry in the country. Consequently, this year we have enhanced our offering with topics at the forefront of our industry and engaging sessions from the very best thought leaders and educators.” Part of ibtm events’ global portfolio of meetings and events industry trade shows, ibtm china attracts over 5,500 high-profile international and domestic MICE delegates each year. All speeches are simultaneously translated to ensure their reach is as broad as possible. (wün)
