Registration open until 9 August for ICCA CEC Summer Meeting in Lviv

The 17th annual ICCA CEC Summer Meeting will take place from 17 to 19 August 2017 in Lviv, Ukraine. Registration is still open now with an extended deadline up until 9 August. Dozens of industry professionals from about 15 different countries will come together for networking, to share ideas and enjoy the charming western Ukrainian city of Lviv. The central theme of this year’s event is “Safety and Security of Our Meetings,” a subject with instant relevance and interest among all in the face of terrorist threats of nowadays.
“We have invited local and international speakers to share with us their case studies, views and recommendations on how to be prepared for the challenges facing us in the very changing world today”, remarks Anna Górska, ICCA CEC Chairperson.Participants will hear experts in the field discuss the importance of prevention, preparedness, and response capacity to unexpected incidents, as well as other related topics. The organizers expect enthusiastic participation in this meeting from all sectors of meetings and tourism. “If you have never been to Lviv, you might feel a glimpse into an old world, primarily because of the eclectic architecture, narrow cobblestone walkways, and music freely played in the central city. The café society so common in Europe is widespread in Lviv, and you will likely feel at home within the international culture that has been a part of this region for centuries”, - notes Lina Ostapchuk, Lviv Convention Bureau Director.
