Lindner Hotels & Resorts are expanding their business model: in the scope of a franchise partnership, hoteliers may now slip under the popular brand umbrella of the Düsseldorf hotel group while at the same time maintaining responsibility and freedom of operational management; a classical win-win situation for both partners: "While this enables us to gradually expand our portfolio, franchisees will profit from the Lindner brand's high degree of popularity and our long market expertise", said Andreas Krökel, Director Operations, Sales & Marketing of Lindner Hotels AG. However, franchising is to be only one element of the overall corporate strategy; Lindner will continue to operate its own hotels as well.

In addition to the renowned brand name, Lindner also offers its franchise partners access to the central reservation and sales systems and integration into direct marketing, CRM and e-commerce activities. As a consequence, franchisees not only benefit from Lindner Hotels' sales and marketing know-how, they also throughout the entire contract term will receive professional support in all issues related to operations, business administration, technology and personnel management. In addition, hotel staff may regularly attend internal training and qualification programs "Owing to a clearly defined division of tasks between franchisor and franchisee, they both benefit from the respective other partner's cooperation and experience", said Andreas Krökel. While Lindner is primarily responsible for marketing on supraregional markets, the franchisee may focus entirely on local operative tasks.

Lindner is above all interested in winning as franchise partners existing 4-star business and resort hotels inGermanyand acrossEuropewith a capacity of at least 100 rooms. Focus is on committed and fully-trained hoteliers with a track record in managing their own hotel. Other requirements are excellent insight into local markets, pronounced entrepreneurial thinking, strategic and operational know-how, quality and brand awareness as well as outstanding communication skills.
