Cologne: Forum on travel risk management

Tips on travel risk management will be offered on September 24 and 25, 2013 at the fvw Congress in Koelnmesse exhibition centre. Business travel to dangerous countries such as Syria, the Congo or Nigeria will be the theme of the VDR Security Forum (see Sicherheitsforum for German website) on September 24 organised as part of the fvw Congress by the German Business Travel Association, VDR. Four addresses in all deal with the issue of safe travel in general. “Travelling into Risk” is the title of the first talk. Carsten Czub, head of travel and security management at the GEA Group, explains how business trips of this kind should be planned and prepared and the participants taken care of to ensure that travel does not turn into a fiasco for the employees and company.
At the main congress, senior executives from Google and Facebook, trend researchers and start-ups will indicate in presentations and sessions where tourist travel is headed in the market of the future. Further accompanying events besides the VDR Security Forum are the fvw Travel Agency Forum and the B2B fair Travel Expo. 2,600 tourism and business travel decision-makers attended the previous fvw Congress
