Sustainable Event Professional Certificate

The Events Industry Council ‘Sustainable Event Professional Certificate’ will do its first edition in Europe end of March. Participants are coming from all kinds of sectors including corporate, MICE, hospitality, association and sports.

The integration of the principles of sustainability into the strategic planning of events makes business sense and can position the event host organisation as a responsible business. Those who understand the business opportunity of sustainability will lead the charge, as meetings and events are ambassadors to deliver brand and marketing messages. The two-day training course, provides insights and active learning to enable participants to implement their own sustainable events.
Topics will include understanding the business value of sustainability, learn sustainable design methods and techniques as well as about international sustainable event standards and measurement and reporting methodologies. At the end of the courses, the participants will be recognized with the Sustainable Event Professional Certificate (SEPC).

The Sustainable Event Professional Certificate program will take place in Fairmont Monte-Carlo, 28. – 30. March 2019.
