IFA is staying where it is: under the TV tower. After one and a half years of often tough negotiations, Clarion Events, the association gfu Consumer & Home Electronics and Messe Berlin have agreed to hold the trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances in Berlin for another ten years.

In future, the event will be the responsibility of the newly founded IFA Management GmbH. This is a joint venture founded by gfu Consumer & Home Electronics GmbH together with Clarion Events Ltd. The new IFA management plans to expand the digital offering and the IFA NEXT brand to open the event still further to start-ups and innovative product launches.
