The major exhibitors have agreed and welcome the win-win situation and synergy effects: From 2023, Messe München will hold Automatica and Laser concurrently in a two-year cycle.

In practical terms: From 2023, Automatica will switch to odd years and run alongside Laser World of Photonics. This means that the international trade fair for intelligent automation and robotics is returning from next year, when it will run from June 27 to 30. With this offering, Messe München is confident not only of increasing the appeal and customer benefit for exhibitors and visitors, but also of attracting additional interest in the core topics of two combined leading fairs focusing on trend technologies.
„Laser and Automatica have overlaps that can be leveraged.“
Reinhard Pfeiffer, managing director, Messe München
Reinhard Pfeiffer, managing director of Messe München: "Both LASER and automatica cover a wide range of production-related topics and offer solutions across sectors. And they have overlaps that can be leveraged. This will result in added value for exhibitors and visitors of both leading exhibitions, making their attendance and presentations even more worthwhile."
