More bike-related business

The new Eurobike Cycling Week, to be held in Frankfurt for the first time from July 13 to 17, 2022, showcases cycling in two ways: with Eurobike Business and Festival Days at the Messe Frankfurt venue (July 13 to 15 for the trade public, July 16 and 17 additionally for end consumers), accompanied by a multitude of cycling activities throughout the Eurobike Cycling Week in Frankfurt and environs.

While the showgrounds will be the central focus during the five days of events, numerous other bike events and activities will be taking place outside the trade show opening times. "Further to the strong B2B focus, the move from Friedrichshafen to Frankfurt will take the appeal to end consumers to another level. As such, there will be a whole weekend for bike enthusiasts on the exhibition grounds showcasing all styles and facets of cycling – from commuting and everyday bikes, from bike polo, DIY maintenance and test rides, to seeing the stars of the international bike scene and bike tourism. We've developed a concept that brings tailor-made topics and solutions to the Frankfurt showgrounds and activities in the Eurobike city, without any cannibalisation", said Dirk Heidrich, show director of Eurobike.

The core Eurobike brand will remain the same, but its contents will be broader and more urban. There will be new focus topics which have been identified as industry growth drivers. These new topics include: micromobility, technology, fitness, health, lifestyle, tourism, infrastructure and sustainability. A particularly important future role will also be the business-to-government (B2G) component of cycling, which will be an integral part of the new Eurobike.
