The Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC), owned by the City of Los Angeles and managed by ASM Global, the premier venue management and services company, has inducted Abilities Expo to the LACC Hall of Fame, class of 2022. The LACC Hall of Fame was introduced in 2021 during the Convention Center's 50th anniversary celebration.
Previous winners include LA Auto Show, Ski Dazzle and Anime Expo. "We are excited to welcome Abilities Expo to the LACC Hall of Fame", said LACC general manager Kimberly Weedmark. "Abilities joins a distinguished group of events that have contributed to the success of this centre while imbuing the centre's values.
„We are honoured to be included in the Class of 2022 Hall of Fame“
The team producing the event has positively impacted the lives of so many area residents. We are proud the LACC has been chosen as their Los Angeles venue partner." The event, free to attendees, offers the latest tech products, informative workshops and interactive features for those with disabilities. The organisers run similar events in various cities throughout the United States.
Abilities Expo chairperson Lew Shomer said, "We are honored to be included in the Class of 2022 Hall of Fame. We are grateful to the LACC not only for such prestigious recognition, but also for their continued partnership with Abilities Expo in our efforts to increase independence and opportunities for Southern California's disability community." Each year, additional events will be named to the LACC Hall of Fame, and collectively these events will illustrate the vibrant history of the Los Angeles Convention Center.https://www.lacclink.com
