Susann Seidemann will be responsible for the future development of the world-leading trade fair for the baking and confectionary industry, iba. Cathleen Kabashi is taking on new tasks within GHM as the director of business unit B2B trade fairs.
With Seidemann, the tradeshow organiser has chosen an experienced trade fair and digital expert. She has more than ten years' experience in sales, market analysis, virtual events and B2B and B2C project coordination. As head of media sales for a renowned media agency, Seidemann made a significant contribution to the success of various projects in the trade fair industry, including Messe München's Electronica and, of course, iba, the world reference fair for the baking industry. Susann Seidemann takes over from Cathleen Kabashi who, as part of an internal management reshuffle, has been assigned new tasks. As exhibition manager and head of iba since 2007, Kabashi made a valuable contribution to the development and internationalisation of the trade fair. Most recently, in March 2021, Kabashi successfully implemented the virtual knowledge and networking event Iba.Connecting Experts. The world-leading fair for the baking and confectionary industry takes place every three years at the Messe München fairground. More than 77,000 trade visitors from around 170 countries attended iba 2018. A total of 1,300 companies exhibited.
