This year's annual Smart Factory + Automation World 2023 took place in Coex from March 8 to 10 for a total of three days. Heralded as the largest Smart Factory + Automation World to date, the event attracted a total of 500 exhibitors with 2,000 booths, and over 50,000 visitors on the first day alone.
Around 100 professional meetings and sessions for the 2023 Industrial Digital Transformation Conference, Smart Logistics Conference, Robotics Conference, IIoT Innovation Day, exhibitors' seminars, and more were held concurrently.
Reflecting the growing interest in logistics industry logistics, particularly after COVID-19, a Smart Logistics Special Pavilion was also created in Hall D. The special pavilion consisted of 200 booths and featured leading domestic logistics companies such as LG CNS, CJ OliveNetworks, and Mobile & Value Chain. The companies held exhibitions and demonstrations of their logistics IT, robots, and logistics solutions.
Smart Factory + Automation World is one of several exhibitions that are organised directly by Coex. As Korea's biggest exhibition organiser, the Coex annually puts on more than 20 international trade shows both in Korea and abroad.
