"Italy at Hand" 2021 is back in Milan

3 days, 45 international buyers, 35 Italian exhibitors and many interactive activities: after two years and a pandemic since the last edition „Italy at Hand“ in Rome 2019: The Convention Bureau Italia and ENIT – Italian National Tourist Board announce that the third edition of Italy at Hand will take place from 16 - 18 December 2021 in Milan. The detailed program will be announced at a later stage.

Italy at Hand will be a 100% live event: thanks to the global positive trend of the vaccination campaign worldwide and the enforcement of strict protocols concerning safety and social distancing, we feel that there are all the prerequisites to meet securely once again in person.
„Today Italy reopens for live events and we felt that there was no better day to announce the 2021 edition of Italy at Hand.“
Carlotta Ferrari, President of the Convention Bureau Italia

“Today Italy reopens for live events and we felt that there was no better day to announce the 2021 edition of Italy at Hand”, says Carlotta Ferrari, President of the Convention Bureau Italia (CBItalia), on 1 July 2021. “Furthermore, we are particularly proud that Milan has accepted our call to host the event, as Milan is a city with Events deeply rooted in its DNA and that during the pandemic, with great foresight, presented its local Convention Bureau.”

Tobia Salvadori, CBItalia’s Director adds: “It is undeniable that todays there is an atmosphere of optimism and positivity; both for today’s reopening, but also for the prospect of soon being able to meet for an onsite event after a long time”. He makes another announcement: the 2020 edition of Italy at Hand in Matera is postponed to 2022.

Maria Elena Rossi, Global Marketing and Promotion Director ENIT comments: „The restart of events, innovation through new digital technologies and the partnership with the main Italian cities, in Milan, with Milano&Partners and Yes Milano Convention Bureau, are part of our strategic vision for value growth and for a sustainable and inclusive development of our country."
