Numerous construction projects are underway to improve the infrastructure of Iraq. The required investment amount in the area of reconstruction, repair and construction projects is around 100 billion USD. Iraq Build Fair aims to bring contractors and key suppliers together.
Due to the increase in oil supply, the contracting sector has entered a period of rapid growth. The construction work and building materials market is developing day by day. The main infrastructure in Iraq investments are water supply projects, wastewater treatment plants, electricity power plants, hospitals, schools and housing constructions, roads, airways, bridges and port construction areas.
The 13th Iraq International Building, Construction and Machinery Exhibition will be held between May 23 and May 26, 2023. Erbil Build Expo is organised by the Pyramids Group. The previous edition in February 2020 saw the participation of 100 exhibitors from Iraq, Turkey, India, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, UAE. The event, which is called the biggest construction fair in the Middle East, was attended by over 15,000 professional visitors.
