Under the code name "Polaris", Hamburg Messe und Congress (HMC), RCADIA (considered Europe's biggest gaming house and digital experience temple) and Super Crowd together intend to set up a community universe, a large games convention, in North Germany.

Running from October 28 to 30, 2022, the event will cover esports, games, cosplay, but also artists, creators and Japanese pop culture. For exhibition boss Bernd Aufderheide, "a cool topic, an awesome format." In short: "I'm thrilled. Both are an excellent match for HMC and Hamburg." In the style of a new games release, the project is announced under the code name "Polaris". On the Internet page, the countdown is running to revelation of the name and an initial teaser trailer is available to watch on YouTube. With the support of RCADIA, the team will also include esports experts.

In addition to the planned face-to-face exhibition, there will be an online part for the community exhibition. With an additional mobile app, a streaming show and a hybrid, gamified exhibition concept, the people responsible want to create new event standards. "We are planning on organising "Polaris" as the technically most modern and entertaining hybrid exhibition in Europe", said Wolf Lang, CEO of Super Crowd and Polaris creative director.
