Italian Exhibition Group IEG has strengthened its presence in Asia with a number of activities: IEG has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Singapore Tourism Board to support the development and organisation of new IEG events in Singapore.

IEG has announced the opening of its own regional headquarters in Singapore. This is in line with its industrial expansion strategy in the 'city of lions', where it also recently signed a letter of intent (LOI) with CEMS-Conference & Exhibition Management Services for the acquisition of two strategic trade shows in the luxury and food segments, namely Sije - Singapore International Jewelry Expo and Café Asia, Sweet and Bakes Asia, Restaurant Asia.
