Informa Markets, the events division of the international B2B Markets, Knowledge Services and Business Intelligence Group, has reported £608.5m of revenue for the year 2021, up 16.2% (underlying 7.7%) compared with 2020.

The company reports that the majority of brands in its portfolio that have run in 2022 have been in North America and the Middle East as the major brands in Europe are traditionally scheduled from the second quarter. In Mainland China, major brands are expected to run from Q2, with activity building towards the for Informa Markets traditionally busier second half of the year.
The company reports that exhibitor space commitments are progressively increasing: "Across our major brands in Q1, total space sold is expected to be over 5 million sq ft, up over 150% on a like-for-like basis versus last year", the statement reads. As brands return, Informa observes a higher concentration of committed buyers at events, leading to high levels of customer satisfaction. This is reflected in an 85%+ increase in average NPS scores across major Q1 brands where results have been published.
Looking ahead, average bookings for Informa Market's major events brands (£5m+ revenue) scheduled for H1 2022 are reported as being at 76% of 2019 revenue, with 94%+ of related cash collected.www.informa.com
