Informa Markets has acquired Premiere Orlando, the largest beauty show in the U.S., and its sister shows, Premiere Birmingham and Premiere Columbus, with expectations to further expand the top beauty brand's footprint. Premiere Show Group, led by Howard Britt, who will remain with the business in a consulting role, has experienced significant growth over the last few years. The show and its smaller regional counterparts focus on trends in skincare, hair care, nail innovation, and more. Premiere Orlando is scheduled to take place from June 4 to 6, 2022 at the Orange County Convention Center.

"We are thrilled to add Premiere Show Group to our portfolio," said Ken McAvoy, president, South Florida Ventures, Informa Markets. "Premiere Orlando is a perfect fit within our community of art, boating, yachting, powersports and jewellery shows in the region, and we are so pleased to bring these shows and this talented team on board to reinforce our commitment to the Florida region, and to help us continue the growth of one of our highest performing and most resilient sectors."

This addition complements Informa Markets' presence in the global beauty and aesthetics communities, which includes a large beauty portfolio in Asia with more than 12 shows, including the world-renowned Cosmoprof Asia event in Hong Kong, and world-leading aesthetics events in Monaco, Miami and Las Vegas. The addition of the Premiere beauty shows provides new market access opportunities for the international beauty community.

Ed McNeill, vice president of Premiere Show Group, will lead the team in this next chapter, reporting to Ken McAvoy. The Premiere team will continue to operate out of Orlando, FL.
