Laura Alexander to lead sales

Laura Alexander has been appointed vice president, Convention Center Sales and Operations of Lexington's Central Bank Center. She will begin her new role on February 7, 2022, and is supposed to lead Oak View Group Facilities' efforts to reopen and rebrand the convention centre after renovation and expansion.


Alexander will work closely with VisitLex, and the Center, to establish new marketing partnerships to attract regional and national conventions to Lexington. Before joining Oak View Group Facilities in Lexington, Alexander spent 10 years at the Owensboro Convention Center and Owensboro Sportscenter. Besides her degree from Western Kentucky University, she is a graduate of the International Association of Venue Management (IAVM) Venue Management School.
