As of February 1, 2023, Sabina Linke is the new general manager of the EVVC, the European Association of Event Centers, based in Frankfurt. Linke is familiar with the event industry after working on many aspects for many years, including as a long-serving manager in various executive roles at NürnbergMesse, at which she was employed for more than 20 years, finally reaching the post of executive director international acquisition and marketing.
The core tasks of the new general manager are representation of interests towards politics, advocacy and lobbying. A further aim of the EVVC is to ensure and maintain the visibility of the event industry with all its trades, from booth builders, to technical service providers, to security services in society, business and politics.
