ProWein under new management

Peter Schmitz will take over as the new director of Prowein on February 1, 2023, with responsibility for the entire global ProWein portfolio. For nine months, the international leading fair for wines and spirits has been under the temporary management of Michael Degen, executive director and board member of Messe Düsseldorf. 58-year-old Schmitz has headed Messe Düsseldorf's contract business for public clients with responsibility for international participations for over 20 years.
