Frankfurt stresses its determination to remain the city of fashion and invites the international players in the textile and fashion business to the city on the Main this summer – and takes on the topic of fashion. From June 24 to 26, 2022, the new public event Neonyt Lab will take place concurrently with the leading global fairs Techtextil, Texprocess and Heimtextil Summer Special, which are taking place from June 21 to 24, 2022.
All this together makes up the Frankfurt Fashion Week. As a trend platform for the sustainable textile and fashion industry, Neonyt is bringing sustainability topics to the fore. With the claim "New patterns", Messe Frankfurt is also opening the show to the target group of buyers. The multidimensional sustainability approach also includes launching the Neonyt Lab, which is aimed at the entire cross-sector community, industry newcomers and anyone else who is interested, with innovative experience formats and a D2C trade show: visitors can discover sustainable sourcing and processing, learn about the preliminary stages of textile production, see and feel finished fashion collections up close and also purchase them directly.
„This is unique worldwide.“
Messe Frankfurt wants to create unique synergies by holding its shows concurrently to cover the processes and products of the entire value chain of the international textile and fashion industry. "We are welcoming the entire industry with our wide-ranging portfolio", says Olaf Schmidt, vice president of Textiles & Textile Technologies. "We are covering all elements of the supply chain and every aspect of the market: research, development, yarns, fabrics, fashion, contract manufacturing, home and household textiles, technical textiles, new digital solutions and processing technologies. This is unique worldwide and offers exchange on all relevant levels."
Around 2000 exhibitors have declared their intention to take part. As part of Frankfurt Fashion Week, numerous events will be held to enthral guests. They will include exhibitions, shows, talks and more. In trendy locations in central Frankfurt, a host of public activities are planned on the topics of sustainability, fashion, lifestyle and culture, to be run on the independent initiative of various organisers.neonyt.messefrankfurt.com/frankfurt/en/press/press-releases/neonyt/neonyt-adapted-concept.html
