(German Agricultural Society), Frankfurt, and Messe München are joining forces in the forestry sector to take advantage of synergies for their respective events, DLG Waldtage and Interforst. The Frankfurt exhibition company will provide modules for the Interforst supporting programme while Munich will provide a central platform for the content of DLG's forestry topics, explained Reinhard Pfeiffer, deputy chairman of the Messe München board. DLG managing director Peter Grothues: "The cooperation between the DLG-Waldtage and Interforst events is an important instrument for the DLG to further technical progress in the forestry sector at large as well as enable technology and knowledge transfer that serve the interests of sustainable forestry." Interforst, which is held every four years, will take place from July 20 to 23 2022. Conversely, expert collaboration will be visible at the upcoming DLG forestry events – DLG Praxis Spots and the Brilon Forest Symposium (September 11 and 23, 2021) and the DLG Waldtage (July 20 to 23, 2022).
