Markus Dirr heads Product Marketing & Sales

Dr. Markus Dirr, formerly head of the Digital division at Messe München, is the new director of the central division Product Marketing & Sales, which brings the marketing and sales competencies of the two disciplines together under one management. This new division is responsible for recruiting new customers and maintaining relations with existing customers for all events at the exhibition company's Munich location.

The division will also collaborate with the international subsidiaries of Messe München in product marketing and sales activities. "A key task of the new central division will be to further drive the already strong acceleration of digitalisation and automatisation in marketing and sales and to merge them together", Klaus Dittrich, chairman and CEO of Messe München, explained the tasks facing executive director Dirr.
