The Exhibitions & Conferences Alliance (ECA) in the U.S. is the unified voice of the face-to-face business events industry and has been working intensely on raising awareness for the relevance of the industry with political decision-makers for the past year. On June 1 to 2, 2021, ECA will coordinate Legislative Action Day to make those voices heard.

The focus of this year's Legislative Action Days will be the U.S. Hospitality and Commerce Job Recovery Act. On June 1, a programme will be hosted that is designed to give participants from the industry the tools needed to effectively advocate on behalf of the industry: Who to contact, how to contact and what to say. This programme will be hosted online and is open to all, at no cost.

On June 2, smaller groups will dive into in-depth video conferences with key legislators. Each group will have designated spokespeople who will be trained beforehand. Everyone is invited to join the legislative action day – whether new to advocacy or a seasoned pro. To participate in the video conferences on June 2, attendees need to register by May 21, 2021.
