Heiko Stutzinger moves to Utrecht

Heiko Stutzinger will take on the role of chief operating officer (COO) of Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs|VNU Group on December 1, 2021. He makes up the three-strong board alongside Franka Morssink (CFO) and Albert Arp (CEO).

Stutzinger will succeed Peter van der Veer, who is set to resign after two years in office. The future COO is currently the managing director of a subsidiary of Royal Jaarbeurs|VNU Group, VNU Asia Pacific in Bangkok. In his new role, he will be responsible for Jaarbeurs exhibitions and titles such as Vakantiebeurs and Bouwbeurs, for guest and partner events and for business development. In addition to his new task, he will remain a member of the board of VNU Asia Pacific. 

Stutzinger has many years of experience in the event sector. Among other functions, he was deputy managing director of Messe Düsseldorf China. Since the start of 2019, he has been the managing director of VNU Asia Pacific, part of the Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs|VNU Group.
