World Future Council convenes in Bregenz

From March 30th – April 2nd, more than 50 Councillors, Ambassadors and members of the Supervisory Board will convene at the World Future Forum 2017 “10 Years World Future Council: Best Policies for Future Generations”, which will take place at the Festival House Bregenz, Austria.During the event,  expert commissions and working groups will meet for key discussions on topics such as our Global Policy Action Plan and Future Policy Award 2018. Councillors will provide keynote speeches and report back about the most important policy challenges from their country/region/perspective and how the World Future Council should best address the interest of future generations.

The World Future Council, founded in 2007 in Hamburg, is actively working in the fields of Climate and Energy, Regenerative Cities, Sustainable Ecosystems, Future Justice, Peace and Disarmament and Sustainable Economies. It identifies the most successful regional, national and international policies in these fields and promotes them in order to solve the most pressing problems of our time. As an example, the work of the Council has greatly contributed to the adoption of Renewable Energy Feed-in Tariff policies in many countries and regions.
