Abu Dhabi’s multi-award winning venue, one of the most internationally accessible in the world, is delighted to be open to host global events once again. A series of rigorous measures are in place to ensure the safety of all visitors and staff so planners can book with confidence.
Committed to the safety and wellbeing of its visitors, the ADNEC Group has worked to ensure that event organisers can plan safe events informed by international event industry best practice issued by ICCA, AIPC and UFI.
Keen to collaborate on future events, ADNEC has issued Business with Confidence that provides a tool-kit for planners based on guidance that references Abu Dhabi Governmental Health and Safety guidelines together with those issued by the World Health Organization and are updated continuously.
Safety measures
The Business with Confidence guidelines are arranged in three sections: Before the event, During the event and Breakdown. The measures include advice on distancing and capacities, hygiene and staff training, minimising contact through pre or contactless registration, one-way systems and staggered entry together with all staff, contractors and sub-contractors being subject to thermal scanning and a valid negative COVID-19 test result.
Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre
A multi-award winning venue, ADNEC offers outstanding event facilities across 142,226 sqm. The venue is perfect for international conferences, exhibitions, conventions as well as corporate and live events.
ICC Abu Dhabi can be subdivided into four large conference halls and seats a maximum of 6000. The venue has 21 meeting rooms alongside lovely banqueting space. Large outdoor areas include Waterfront Quayside and a Marina.
The innovation award-winning Hive is a new innovative and creative meeting space designed to inspire collaboration and is ideal for workshops and break-outs.
A range of restaurants, shops, cafes business facilities are on site, together with six hotels offering around 1,800 bedrooms within a short walking distance, as well as two directly connected to the venue itself.
One of the most internationally accessible venues in the world, ADNEC is just 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport, which serves more than 50 airlines and 100 destinations. Only 20 minutes from the attractions of downtown Abu Dhabi, it is also just 90 minutes from Dubai International Airport.
